Gravel Paving Material: Gravel Fix Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture <Kaneda Community Exchange Center> The center is located in an area adjacent to a large outlet park, where the surrounding environment has undergone significant development, making the aesthetic of the buildings a major consideration. Simply using asphalt or gravel would feel "uninspired," so natural materials enhance the entrance and parking lot. We planned a "gravel road." As a community exchange center frequented by many people, including wheelchair users and women in high heels, the phrase "doesn't sink even with gravel" is particularly fitting. Additionally, due to the local characteristics, a further "deciding factor" was the <drainage capability>. This design also took into account disaster prevention measures in the event of an earthquake. They wanted to ensure proper drainage due to the ground characteristics, and resolving this issue has become a significant advantage. The representatives from Kisarazu City Hall have clearly understood the characteristics of Gravel Fix, and we received positive feedback that it perfectly aligns with the concept of "connecting the sea, town, people, and future."
